UAE is not a Hague member for civil and commercial documents, so the UAE-bound Indian document runs through Embassy attestation at the UAE Embassy in New Delhi (with UAE MOFA in-India consolidated into the same step). Arabic translation lands at the end of that sequence, so the translator renders the UAE Embassy stamp and the State HRD or SDM seal alongside the document body. DHA Dubai, DOH Abu Dhabi, MOH Federal, Emirates ID family-visa renewals, Free Zone subsidiary registrations and Golden Visa applicants all read the Arabic translation against the attestation stamps.
Start with a source scan
UAE-bound translation work often run alongside DHA / DOH / MOH healthcare licensing or employer-side Skill Verification Programme (SVP) files. For healthcare professionals, the document set typically includes the nursing or medical degree, the council registration, the good standing certificate, and selected experience certificates, all of which need Arabic translation after the full attestation steps. For family-visa renewals at a Dubai or Abu Dhabi medical-fitness centre, the marriage certificate, birth certificates, and sponsor-side supporting documents all need Arabic translation alongside the attestation.
Name and date transliteration is the most common cause of UAE-side queries. The same Indian name written one way on the apostilled / attested degree translation and another way on the marriage certificate translation will trigger comparison questions at the Emirates ID stage or at the DHA / DOH / MOH licensing stage. We standardise transliteration across the entire applicant file before any translation is locked in.
UAE's position on Hague apostille remains conditional and category-specific in 2026. Civil documents (birth, marriage, divorce, PCC) for family-residence visa generally still need UAE Embassy attestation in New Delhi plus UAE MOFA consolidation in India (the UAE MOFA service moved into the same India-side workflow around 2023). Commercial documents (MOA, AOA, board resolution, commercial invoice, certificate of origin) still need Chamber of Commerce attestation in India plus the full UAE Embassy + MOFA sequence. Educational documents for DHA / DOH / MOH healthcare licensing increasingly accept MEA apostille only, but verify with the receiving emirate's authority before any document moves.
The UAE Arabic translation has specific format expectations that differ from Saudi Arabic. UAE official translation by a translator approved by the UAE Ministry of Justice ( the UAE-side step done after the apostille and embassy attestation reach Dubai or Abu Dhabi) is the gold-standard format for DHA Dubai, DOH Abu Dhabi, MOH Federal, Emirates ID, and Free Zone licensing offices. For pre-arrival UAE submissions through the Embassy in New Delhi, Indian-side Arabic translation by a translator the Embassy has accepted before is the accepted format. We name which Arabic-translation path applies at intake.
Common UAE-bound bundles: DHA / DOH / MOH healthcare licensing (medical or nursing degree + council registration + Good Standing + experience letters in the specific format the UAE Embassy expects + COVID and TB clearance); Emirates ID family-visa renewals (marriage certificate + birth certificates + sponsor passport copies); Free Zone subsidiary setup at JAFZA, DMCC, ADGM, DIFC, RAKEZ (MOA + AOA + board resolution + Chamber-attested invoice + passport copies of directors and shareholders); Golden Visa application (degree + experience + PCC + property or capital deposit proof + sponsor letter). Each lane sits inside the UAE-side Emirates ID and visa-stamping ecosystem.
You can't mess with people's Original documents on a UAE case. The Indian Nursing Council registration certificate, the BSc Nursing degree, the marriage certificate going into the Emirates ID family-visa file; we run the State HRD attestation in the issuing state, the MEA apostille at our Delhi handoff, the UAE Embassy + UAE MOFA inside India, the Arabic translation last. Pictures and short videos of every stamp go on WhatsApp before the document moves. Inter-city and international legs use Blue Dart, DHL, FedEx, DTDC Premium, UPS. We do not use Porter, Wefast, Borzo or similar third-party parcel apps. WhatsApp the scan with the UAE recipient named in one line; we come back with the exact steps, the realistic working-day timeline, and a written quote separating fees by stage.

Frequently Asked Questions
What documents are required?
The exact list depends on the file. For a degree apostille, the original degree certificate is the core document, with transcripts / consolidated marksheets, passport copy, and the destination authority's checklist as supporting. For a birth certificate apostille, the original municipal-corporation-issued certificate plus identity proof. For a marriage certificate apostille, the original registered civil certificate (Sub-Registrar / Marriage Registrar issued, not just religious ceremony). SiZA Global reviews the specific file scans on WhatsApp and confirms the exact document set required before originals move.
How long does the process take?
End-to-end timelines depend on the issuing state, university verification, document type, destination country and translation requirement. MEA apostille itself takes 2 to 4 working days, or 24 hours on urgent processing if the next day is a working day. State HRD timings vary by state, for example Maharashtra takes 25 to 35 working days, Gujarat takes 10 to 30 working days, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh take 10 to 15 working days, and Kerala takes 20 to 30 working days. For non-Hague countries, embassy and MOFA steps are added separately.
Do originals need to be submitted?
Yes. HRD, SDM, Home Department, MEA apostille, and embassy attestation are all physical-stamping processes on the original document. A scan is enough for the initial review on WhatsApp; the original is then couriered to SiZA Global (or we arrange doorstep pickup in major Indian cities) for the authority steps. The original is returned by AWB-tracked courier after completion. NRIs whose originals are with family in India can coordinate the whole process remotely, the originals never leave India for the apostille step.
When do documents need certified translation?
Certified translation is required when an Indian document is submitted to a foreign authority whose working language is not English. Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Poland, Russia, the GCC (Arabic), and many others ask for certified translation alongside (or after) the apostille. The format varies, Italy uses Embassy-empanelled translators, Germany uses sworn translators (vereidigter Übersetzer), Spain uses Traductor Jurado, Czech Republic uses soudní tlumočník. SiZA Global confirms the accepted format for the receiving authority before translation begins.
