SiZA Global Solutions Pvt. Ltd. · CIN U82199UW2026PTC253746 · Udyam UDYAM-UP-28-0217175

Certified translation services in Delhi at SiZA Global cover the language pairs that come up most often on overseas documentation work from India: Arabic (for UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Libya, Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Algeria), Italian (for Italy Study D, DoV, family reunion, work, civil registration), German (for Germany APS / ZAB and university submissions, plus Austria-list sworn translation for Austrian authorities), French (for France Campus France and traducteur assermenté files), Spanish (for Spain Traductor Jurado submissions), Czech / Slovak / Slovenian sworn translations (for Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia applications), Polish (tłumacz przysięgły), Portuguese, Dutch, Russian, Ukrainian, Romanian, Greek, Hungarian, Turkish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and other languages where Indian documents are bound for overseas use.

Certified translation in this context is not a single uniform product. Each receiving country has its own format expectation, Indian-side certified translation (translator declaration + agency stamp) is accepted by some destinations; sworn / court-sworn translation in the destination country's recognised translator list is required by others (Spain Traductor Jurado, Germany court-sworn, Austria-list court-sworn, France traducteur assermenté, Czech soudní tlumočník, Slovak úradný prekladateľ, Slovenian sodno zapriseženi prevajalec, Polish tłumacz przysięgły). The wrong format means the translation is rejected at the destination, even if the translation is linguistically correct. We confirm the destination-specific format in writing before any translation is locked in.

Translation sequencing matters because most destinations require the translation to also represent the apostille stamp, the pre-MEA seal, and any embassy attestation stamps. That means translation is the last step, not the first, done after the document has been fully authenticated through SDM or HRD, MEA, and (for non-Hague destinations) the destination Embassy attestation. Doing translation before authentication usually means the translation has to be redone after the stamps are added, doubling the cost.

Delhi is the operational centre for India-side translation because of the Embassy concentration. The Italian Embassy New Delhi, the German Embassy, the French Embassy, the Spanish Embassy, the Czech Embassy, the Slovak Embassy, the Slovenian Embassy, the Polish Embassy, the Portuguese Embassy, the Russian Embassy at Shantipath, the UAE Embassy at Chanakyapuri, the Saudi Embassy New Delhi, the Kuwait Embassy at Chanakyapuri, the Qatar Embassy in Vasant Vihar, the Bahrain Embassy New Delhi, the Oman Embassy, the Libyan Embassy in Vasant Vihar, the Egyptian Embassy, all sit in Delhi-NCR within VFS reach. The Ministry of External Affairs apostille and attestation counter is in Patiala House, New Delhi. SiZA Global operates from C-25, Sector 8, Noida. 35 minutes from MEA Patiala House on a clean day, 90 minutes on a Delhi rain day.

What certified translation in Delhi actually means is shaped by the destination authority's acceptance rule. Indian-side certified translation (translator declaration on letterhead, agency stamp, signed copy) is acceptable for US, UK, Canada, Australia for most use cases; for USCIS, certified translation with translator's certification of accuracy and completeness on agency letterhead is the standard format. Sworn translation in the destination country is required by most of continental Europe (Italy DoV via Embassy-empanelled translator, Germany court-sworn vereidigter Übersetzer, France traducteur assermenté, Spain Traductor Jurado authorised by MAEC, Czech soudní tlumočník, Slovak úradný prekladateľ, Slovenian sodno zapriseženi prevajalec, Polish tłumacz przysięgły, Dutch beëdigd vertaler). We confirm the destination acceptance rule at intake before commissioning translation.

Delhi-NCR's translation ecosystem has its own working rhythms. Italian Embassy New Delhi empanelled translator turnaround for a standard family or student document pack is typically 5 to 10 working days; the Embassy DoV counter takes another 5 to 15 working days for the Dichiarazione di Valore stamp itself. German vereidigter Übersetzer hard-copy turnaround from Germany to India is 7 to 15 working days plus 5 to 10 days for international courier. Spanish Traductor Jurado from Spain to India: 2 to 3 working days standard, 1 day urgent, soft-copy PDF (the Spanish Embassy in New Delhi accepts soft-copy). Czech soudní tlumočník hard-copy from the Czech Republic to India: 5 to 15 working days plus 3 to 7 days for international courier (the Czech Embassy accepts hard-copy only). French traducteur assermenté: 5 to 15 working days; for Quebec destinations, OTTIAQ-listed translators are required. Russian Embassy-recognised translators: 3 to 7 working days for the translation itself plus the Russian Embassy attestation queue.

Delhi-specific documentary realities that catch Indian applicants. The Delhi-sub-registrar-issued Hindu Marriage Act Form B is in English (most Delhi sub-registrars issue in English); the same is true for Delhi Birth Certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Delhi state-issued PCC from the local police station requires Delhi Home Department countersign before MEA apostille; PSK PCC issued at Bhikaji Cama Place, Shalimar Bagh, or Hauz Khas PSK goes directly to MEA. Delhi-issued degree certificates from DU, JNU, IIT Delhi, NIT Delhi, Indraprastha University, Jamia Millia Islamia go through the Delhi State HRD (Directorate of Higher Education, Government of NCT Delhi). State HRD turnaround for Delhi-issued degrees: 7 to 12 working days, faster than most other state HRDs.

What SiZA Global runs out of the Noida office for Delhi-area translation clients. WhatsApp scan review before originals move (the same-day quote and timeline confirmation is the gating step that prevents wasted runs to Delhi). Original-document pickup across South Delhi, Central Delhi, North Delhi, West Delhi, East Delhi, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Noida, Faridabad through SiZA pickup or family-courier-to-Noida-office. Notary, SDM, MEA submission and collection runs through Delhi by our team. Embassy attestation runs through the destination Embassy in Delhi-NCR. International courier dispatch from Noida by Blue Dart, DHL, FedEx, DTDC Premium, UPS.

Delhi rain and monsoon constraints are operationally real. Monsoon waterlogging at MEA Patiala House, at South Delhi Embassy clusters in Chanakyapuri and Shantipath, on the Yamuna Expressway between Noida and Delhi, are reasons documents get damaged when handled by third-party parcel apps. We use waterproof packaging on every Delhi-leg movement, dedicated SiZA staff for MEA and Embassy handoffs (not Porter, Wefast, Borzo or similar third-party parcel apps), and Blue Dart or DTDC Premium for any longer inter-city leg.

You can't mess with people's Original documents on a Delhi-routed translation case. WhatsApp the scan and the destination Embassy (Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Czech, Slovak, Slovenian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, UAE, Saudi, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Libya, Egypt, USCIS, UK Home Office, ACS Australia, WES Canada). We come back with the destination-acceptance rule, the right translator for the destination, the realistic Delhi-leg working-day timeline, and a written quote separating apostille, embassy attestation, sworn translation, and courier fees before any originals move.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What languages do you actually translate from English in Delhi?

Arabic, Italian, German, French, Spanish, Czech, Russian, Portuguese, Dutch, Mandarin are the regular ones, with Slovenian, Slovak, Polish, Vietnamese, Korean and a few others handled through specialist translators when needed. The thing worth knowing is that"certified translation" means different things in different countries. Germany, Spain and Czech Republic legally require a court-sworn translator (Beeidigter Übersetzer, traductor jurado, soudní tlumočník) registered with the destination country's courts, not an India-side notarised translator. For those three, we coordinate with translators registered in the destination country rather than doing the translation in India.

My destination is France for an Italian-spouse spouse visa. Italian or French translation?

Both possibly, but for different parts of the submission. The Italian marriage certificate or relationship paperwork from your spouse stays in Italian and the French Consulate in Mumbai or Delhi will read it; your Indian documents being apostilled need to be translated into French for the French consulate review and the French municipality at your destination. We see this confusion regularly on Italian-spouse applications going to France: people order Italian translation thinking that is what France wants. France wants French. We confirm the receiving authority and only commission the translation that authority actually needs.

Translate first, then apostille, or the other way round?

For almost every destination we work with, apostille first, then translate. The reason is mechanical: the apostille itself carries text, seals and signatures that need to be in the destination language too. If you translate the Indian document first and then apostille, the apostille goes on top of the translation in English (or whatever the apostille language is), and you end up needing a second pass anyway. A small number of destination authorities specifically ask for translation on the underlying document first; that is rare, and we verify it from the destination authority's written instruction rather than assuming.

My Bihar marriage certificate is in Hindi. The US consulate is asking for an English version. Is that a translation case for you?

Yes, and it is a more common case than people expect. State-issued civil documents from Bihar, UP, Rajasthan, MP and several other states are routinely issued only in Hindi or the regional language; the destination authority almost always wants English. We drive certified Hindi-to-English (or Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Urdu) translation through translators who can do the legal-document work properly, not generic translation services. The translation is then attached to the original and the pair goes through SDM or Home Department, MEA, and onwards.

    What documents are required?

The exact list depends on the file. For a degree apostille, the original degree certificate is the core document, with transcripts / consolidated marksheets, passport copy, and the destination authority's checklist as supporting. For a birth certificate apostille, the original municipal-corporation-issued certificate plus identity proof. For a marriage certificate apostille, the original registered civil certificate (Sub-Registrar / Marriage Registrar issued, not just religious ceremony). SiZA Global reviews the specific file scans on WhatsApp and confirms the exact document set required before originals move.

How long does the process take?

End-to-end timelines depend on five factors: the issuing state, whether university verification is required, the document type (educational vs civil vs commercial), the destination country path (Hague apostille vs non-Hague embassy attestation), and any translation requirement. A typical apostille-only file is 7-15 working days; a file with HRD + apostille + translation is 12-25 working days; a non-Hague embassy attestation file with all sequence steps is 15-30 working days. SiZA Global shares a written, case-specific timeline after the scan review.

Do originals need to be submitted?

Yes. HRD, SDM, Home Department, MEA apostille, and embassy attestation are all physical-stamping processes on the original document. A scan is enough for the initial review on WhatsApp; the original is then couriered to SiZA Global (or we arrange doorstep pickup in major Indian cities) for the authority steps. The original is returned by AWB-tracked courier after completion. NRIs whose originals are with family in India can coordinate the whole process remotely, the originals never leave India for the apostille step.
