Australia accepts Indian MEA apostille for skilled-migration files, AHPRA registration for healthcare professionals, VETASSESS and Engineers Australia skills assessments, Department of Home Affairs visa applications (Skilled Independent 189, Skilled Nominated 190, Skilled Work Regional 491, Partner, Student, Family), and university admissions. Apostille is a Hague-Convention step that handles authentication; what runs in parallel is the recognition / skills assessment layer, AHPRA, Engineers Australia, VETASSESS, ACS and others each have their own document instruction (often the issuing institution must courier directly, not the applicant), so the apostille has to fit into that instruction rather than replace it.

The most common NRI-from-Australia files we handle are: PR applications where the Indian PCC and the apostilled degree need to land within a freshness window, AHPRA registration for nurses and doctors where the nursing council registration plus good-standing certificate plus internship completion certificate all need apostille, Engineers Australia and ACS files where engineering and IT degrees need apostille alongside detailed CDR documentation, Partner visa files where the marriage certificate (and where relevant, birth certificate of the dependent child) needs apostille, dependant Student-Visa renewals, and the occasional Family Reunion file where the parent or dependent birth records have to be re-attested.
The Indian chain runs from our Noida office without you returning home. Family in India couriers the original after WhatsApp confirmation of the route; we coordinate State HRD or SDM, MEA apostille, and tracked return to your Australian address by DHL or FedEx. Australia accepts Indian English-language documents without translation in the general case. Where AHPRA, Engineers Australia, ACS or a Australian university has issued specific direct-issue instructions for an educational document, we coordinate the issuing university to courier directly while the apostille is run on a separately issued original where allowed.
Share a clear scan on WhatsApp (+91-9220161774) or info@sizaglobal.com with the purpose, PR (and which subclass), AHPRA (and which profession), Engineers Australia, ACS, Partner visa, Student dependant, family route, or other. We confirm the chain, the realistic timeline, the parallel assessment paperwork (CDR, skills assessment, registration documents) your recipient wants alongside the apostille, and the written quote before originals move.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to fly back to India?
No. Indian apostille and embassy attestation only happen in India (MEA is the sole authority for Indian-document apostille, and Indian Missions abroad cannot apostille Indian-issued documents). SiZA Global coordinates the India-side process remotely, family or a trusted local contact in India hands off your original to our courier partner, we run the full chain (State HRD or SDM where required, MEA apostille or embassy attestation, certified translation where the destination needs it), and the completed document is sent by tracked international courier (DHL / FedEx) to your address abroad. Most NRIs complete the whole process without travelling.
What is an apostille?
An apostille is a single official stamp issued by India's Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on the back of an Indian document. Once placed, the document is accepted in any country that is a member of the 1961 Hague Apostille Convention, about 125 countries today, including the USA, UK, Italy, Germany, France, Saudi Arabia (since 2022), and Canada (since 2024). For non-Hague destinations such as UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Libya, and Egypt, MEA apostille alone is not enough, the document needs MEA attestation plus the destination country's embassy attestation in India.
Is apostille required for Saudi Arabia?
Saudi Arabia joined the Hague Apostille Convention in December 2022. For Indian documents going to Saudi Arabia today, MEA apostille (after the relevant pre-step, State HRD for educational documents, SDM or Home Department for civil documents) is the standard India-side authentication. The previous Saudi Embassy + Cultural Attaché route was discontinued in December 2022; some Saudi employers still ask for QVP / Mosaddaqa qualification verification or SCFHS DataFlow PSV separately for licensed professions. SiZA Global confirms which parallel tracks apply to your specific Saudi file at scan review.

“Czech Blue Card required apostilled degree, work experience letters, and a certified Czech translation of my degree. The Czech embassy accepted everything first attempt.”

“AHPRA skills assessment required apostilled pharmacy degree and internship certificate. I was confused about whether Tamil Nadu HRD attestation was needed first. SiZA clarified it clearly — TN HRD is required before MEA for degree apostille. They handled both steps. My documents reached AHPRA exactly as required.”
