Apostille, embassy attestation and certified translation for Indian lawyers, CAs and CS
Peer to peer. We will not over-explain the route. We will tell you plainly which step does what, where the destination authority lives in the case, and where SiZA fits.

Your Situation
How SiZA helps legal professionals, lawyers, cas and company secretaries
Lawyers, Chartered Accountants and Company Secretaries handle the sequences other people misroute. A POA from an NRI client to a counsel in India, an affidavit going from an Indian client to a US immigration filing, a board resolution authorising a foreign branch, a probate document needed for an estate split across two jurisdictions, a succession certificate, a court order from a family court being recognised abroad. The route is rarely the issue; the issue is whether each step matches what the destination authority actually wants on this kind of document.
For legal professionals, the legalisation side of these cases sits with us. Founder note worth surfacing: lawyers reach out to SiZA when an apostille question on a POA, a court order or a commercial document needs an answer they cannot find on a government portal. That is a real part of the day. It is also the reason this page reads peer to peer rather than as a 101.
Legal opinion is outside what SiZA offers. Authentication is what we do. The contract content, the affidavit text, the POA scope, the succession claim, the court strategy — those are yours.
Common Situations
Real situations we run for this audience
General or Special POA from an Indian principal to a foreign agent
A POA from an Indian client to a counsel, agent, partner or family member abroad. Notary clean, then either Chamber-plus-MEA if the destination authority treats the POA as commercial, or SDM-plus-MEA on the personal POA route. Then apostille for a Hague country, or embassy and MOFA for a non-Hague country. The destination authority decides which lane the POA sits in; we run the steps that the authority will recognise.
Affidavit, single-status certificate or sworn statement
Affidavits going abroad usually run Notary, SDM or Home, MEA, then apostille or embassy. A single-status certificate for marriage abroad is in the same lane. The Embassy of Italy New Delhi DoV process expressly does not accept affidavits for a name mismatch; in that case the corrective is a "one and the same" certificate from the competent Tehsildar of the candidate’s area. Knowing where affidavits work and where they do not is the difference between a clean application and a returned one.
Court orders, decrees, probate and succession certificates
Court orders, decrees, custody orders, divorce decrees, probate documents and succession certificates moving abroad usually need MEA Apostille for a Hague country. The notary leg is light because the document is already a court instrument. The destination jurisdiction may also ask for a sworn translation in its court language. Italian court submissions, German court submissions, French notarial requirements: each has its own translation expectation.
Corporate legal documents: board resolutions, MOA, AOA, shareholder agreements
Corporate legal documents going abroad sit on the commercial handling: Notary, Chamber of Commerce, MEA, then apostille (Hague) or embassy (non-Hague). Chamber of Commerce attestation is only for commercial documents; a Chamber stamp on a personal POA or a personal affidavit is wrong, and the foreign authority will flag it. The order matters more than the speed on these applications.
Multi-jurisdiction routes and cross-border filings
Indian client, Indian-issued document, foreign-court submission. Indian-issued document, then UAE, then Saudi, then back to India. We have run cross-border cases where Qatar MOFA, then UAE Embassy and MOFA from Qatar, then India-side were the actual steps. Where in-country attestation is needed (Qatar MOFA in Doha, Kuwait MOFA in Kuwait City) we coordinate through established in-country partners.

Country And Process Map
What we do in India, country by country
Hague countries (Italy, Germany, France, UK, USA, Australia, Canada and others)
Notary, SDM or HRD or Chamber depending on document category, MEA Attestation, MEA Apostille. Sworn or certified translation in the destination language where the receiving court or authority asks.
Notary, SDM or Chamber depending on category, MEA, UAE Embassy and UAE MOFA together in India. Arabic translation by GCC-mission-recognised translators where required.
Notary, SDM (personal) or Chamber (commercial), MEA, MEA Apostille. Certified Arabic translation.
Qatar, Kuwait
Notary, SDM (personal) or Chamber (commercial), MEA, destination Embassy (Qatar New Delhi or Kuwait New Delhi or Mumbai), then MOFA in Doha or Kuwait City through in-country partners.
How SiZA handles this work
- •Peer-to-peer call with the lawyer, CA or CS first. We confirm the order in the language the legal team uses, not in a 101
- •Clean separation of personal-document route (SDM or Home), educational sequence (HRD or SDM), and commercial route (Chamber)
- •Where translation is required for court use, sworn translators in the destination language through SiZA Multi Lingual Translators
- •Customer ID and document ID at intake; printed checklist that travels with the application
- •Cross-country attestation through established in-country partners (Qatar MOFA in Doha, Kuwait MOFA in Kuwait City)
- •Confidential handling. Files are not discussed outside the authorised contact list
- •Return courier through Blue Dart, DHL, FedEx, DTDC Premium or UPS; case closes only after your office confirms receipt
What SiZA does not do
- •No legal opinion on contract content, POA scope, or court strategy
- •No Chamber attestation on personal documents under any condition
- •No SDM on documents the destination authority requires HRD on (Italy study documents, for example)
- •No bypass of HRD personal-appearance states; we will name them when they apply
- •No back-dated court orders or fabricated notarial sequences under any condition
The Real Worry
What you are dealing with
You have a POA going to a counsel in Dubai, an affidavit going to Italy, and a board resolution going to a foreign subsidiary in Singapore. Three different orders of attestations, three different translation expectations, and a client who wants all three landed before next Friday.
How SiZA addresses it
Three customer IDs, three document IDs, three routes run in parallel. The steps get confirmed document by document with you on call one, each one carries its own committed schedule, and the status of all three sits on the same WhatsApp thread or email summary. Bundling them into one would be wrong — destination authorities treat them differently.
Why customers trust SiZA
A practical signal from the founder: lawyers reach out to SiZA for clarification on apostille mechanics, HRD nuances, MOFA, DoV, CIMEA and commercial-document orders of attestations. SiZA is one of the largest B2B providers for apostille and attestation business from India. Other attestation companies, immigration consultants and overseas consultants route their backend through SiZA. That position is the reason we know which step the destination authority actually wants and which step an over-confident agent has invented.
