NetherlandsApostille & Document Services from India
Netherlands MVV and Highly Skilled Migrant cases are usually employer or university initiated, but the Indian document workflow still has to be exact, or IND sends it back. We prepare the apostilled degree, transcripts, birth certificate, and PCC, and coordinate certified Dutch or English translation in the format the IND submission expects.
Unlike most of Europe, Netherlands documentation often run almost entirely in English. IND, NUFFIC and most Dutch universities accept English-language Indian documents and English translations, which means a faster, lighter case for Indian applicants who would otherwise need sworn translation in Dutch.

The Netherlands runs on three main desks for us. Master degree admissions at TU Delft, University of Amsterdam, Leiden, Erasmus Rotterdam, Utrecht, Eindhoven and other research universities, plus the HBO universities of applied sciences. Highly Skilled Migrant (Kennismigrant) for IT and engineering professionals on the IND sponsor-employer pathway. And family reunion via the MVV pathway for spouses joining workers already in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Eindhoven and other Dutch cities.
The Netherlands is Hague. State HRD on educational documents, SDM or Home on personal documents, then MEA apostille. That is the India-side steps.
The translation rule is the part where Netherlands is lighter than most of Europe. Most Dutch authorities including IND, NUFFIC and the universities accept English-language Indian documents and English translations alongside the apostille. Sworn Dutch translation by a beëdigd vertaler is required only in a narrower set of cases: civil documents going to a Dutch gemeente (town hall) for marriage registration, family reunion submissions where the municipality asks specifically, and a few regulated-profession documents. We confirm which translation approach applies after seeing the recipient instruction. No reason to pay for sworn Dutch translation if English is what your IND case officer or NUFFIC reviewer is going to read.
For healthcare professionals, BIG (Beroepen in de Individuele Gezondheidszorg) registration runs in Netherlands. Engineers and other regulated technical professionals may use NUFFIC or IDW for credential evaluation. Both want apostilled originals plus English (or where asked, Dutch sworn) translation.
MVV is the long-stay entry visa stamped at the Dutch Embassy or VFS in India. The residence permit (verblijfsvergunning) is collected from IND in Netherlands after arrival.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need apostille for Netherlands study visa?
Yes. Indian educational documents going to Dutch universities, IND and NUFFIC need State HRD plus MEA apostille. English-language Indian documents are usually accepted alongside the apostille, so sworn Dutch translation is often not needed for the student documents.
When do I need sworn Dutch translation versus English?
For IND, NUFFIC and most Dutch universities, English-language Indian documents and English translations are usually accepted. Sworn Dutch translation by a beëdigd vertaler is generally needed for civil documents going to a Dutch gemeente for marriage registration or birth registration, some family reunion submissions where the municipality specifically asks for it, and a few regulated-profession documents. We confirm which translation approach applies after seeing the recipient instruction.
What is BIG and do I need apostille for it?
BIG (Beroepen in de Individuele Gezondheidszorg) is the Dutch healthcare professional register. Indian doctors, nurses, pharmacists and dentists need BIG registration before they can practise in Netherlands. These cases usually want apostilled and translated degree, registration certificate and good-standing letter from your Indian medical council. We prepare the input documents; BIG decides on the Netherlands side.
What is NUFFIC and is it the same as apostille?
NUFFIC is the Dutch organisation for internationalisation in education. It runs credential evaluation that compares your Indian degree to the Dutch system. Apostille is the India-side legalisation stamp. They are separate processes. Most NUFFIC submissions want apostilled originals plus English translation as the input. NUFFIC decides on the Netherlands side.
