Malaysia document files commonly support employment, study, family, professional-registration and commercial submissions. A degree, birth certificate, marriage certificate and PCC should not be pushed through one generic sequence: the issuing authority, recipient and purpose determine the evidence and authentication that belong in the file.

The current HCCH Apostille Convention status table does not list Malaysia as a Contracting Party. That means an apostille should not be sold as a universal final step for Malaysian use. The recipient may instead request document-specific Indian authentication, MEA handling, consular legalisation, certified copies or translation. SiZA confirms the written requirement before quoting or collecting originals.

Healthcare and other regulated-profession submissions should begin with the current regulator instruction. Degree authentication, council registration, Good Standing and verification records may be separate, and the Malaysian authority—not SiZA—decides registration or licensing outcomes.

For students, Education Malaysia Global Services processes Student Pass applications under the Malaysian higher-education system. EMGS lists academic certificates and transcripts among the application documents, but the institution and current EMGS checklist control the required format and any additional verification.
