DataFlow Primary Source Verification (PSV) is a mandatory step for Indian healthcare professionals (nurses, doctors, dentists, pharmacists, physiotherapists, lab technicians, allied health workers) who want to register with Gulf healthcare regulators, SCFHS in Saudi Arabia, DHA / DOH / MOH in the UAE depending on emirate, QCHP in Qatar, NHRA in Bahrain, MOH in Kuwait and Oman. DataFlow does not issue licences; it verifies that the applicant's education, registration and experience are genuine, by going directly to the Indian source institutions (university, nursing or medical council, prior employers) and confirming the documents the applicant has submitted.
The most common reason DataFlow paperwork run over their projected timeline (DataFlow themselves quote 4 to 8 weeks, often longer in practice) is institutional non-response on the Indian side. Universities, state nursing councils, state medical councils, and prior employers are not contractually bound to respond to DataFlow within any particular timeframe; some respond in a week, some go silent. After about three weeks of silence, the applicant is generally expected to follow up directly, which is hard to do from abroad. SiZA Global supports that follow-up: liaising with the Indian institution's verification or registrar office, requesting an internal reference number for the DataFlow verification, and where the institution will not respond electronically, arranging an in-person follow-up or a signed-letterhead response that DataFlow can accept.
DataFlow is not transferable across countries. A Saudi SCFHS DataFlow already in place does not move to UAE DHA, a fresh DataFlow case has to be opened with DHA as the recipient regulator. The same applies between UAE / Qatar / Kuwait / Bahrain / Oman. Apostille / attestation and translation work runs at the same time the DataFlow process, not after it. Most healthcare professionals need apostilled degree + nursing or medical council registration + good standing certificate + experience certificates, plus Arabic translation, ready for the licensing authority by the time DataFlow completes.

What documents are required?
The exact list depends on the file. For a degree apostille, the original degree certificate is the core document, with transcripts / consolidated marksheets, passport copy, and the destination authority's checklist as supporting. For a birth certificate apostille, the original municipal-corporation-issued certificate plus identity proof. For a marriage certificate apostille, the original registered civil certificate (Sub-Registrar / Marriage Registrar issued, not just religious ceremony). SiZA Global reviews the specific file scans on WhatsApp and confirms the exact document set required before originals move.
How long does the process take?
End-to-end timelines depend on the issuing state, university verification, document type, destination country and translation requirement. MEA apostille itself takes 2 to 4 working days, or 24 hours on urgent processing if the next day is a working day. State HRD timings vary by state, for example Maharashtra takes 25 to 35 working days, Gujarat takes 10 to 30 working days, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh take 10 to 15 working days, and Kerala takes 20 to 30 working days. For non-Hague countries, embassy and MOFA steps are added separately.
Do originals need to be submitted?
Yes. HRD, SDM, Home Department, MEA apostille, and embassy attestation are all physical-stamping processes on the original document. A scan is enough for the initial review on WhatsApp; the original is then couriered to SiZA Global (or we arrange doorstep pickup in major Indian cities) for the authority steps. The original is returned by AWB-tracked courier after completion. NRIs whose originals are with family in India can coordinate the whole process remotely, the originals never leave India for the apostille step.
